Disciple IV – Prophets, Letters of John & Revelations

Welcome to the fourth level of the Discipleship program. By now you have grown tremendously, both spiritually, & academically. You have experienced wonderful opportunities along the way for relationship building & fellowship. At the completion of this final level, you will find yourself equipped with the knowledge base & leadership skills to serve others as they begin their journey through the program. But first, let us see what this final year has in store for you.

The format remains consistent with the year being divided into two equal halves. The first 16 weeks cover a little lesser-known portion of the Old Testament referred to as the Writings:

Ruth, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalms, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs, Lamentations, and Daniel. (Although Daniel is generally grouped with the Prophets in the Old Testament, it is also included here.

In the past courses, you have been familiarized with other classifications of books such as the Pentateuch, Major or Minor Prophets, Gospel, Epistles and so on.

The New Testament segment focuses for 8 weeks on the works & writings of the Apostle John. It gives you a much better understanding on Jesus’ life & purpose. Everything He did & said clearly showed and proved Him to be the Son of God.
For those of you who have been waiting since week 32 of DI for ‘end time’ study, your wait is over! The course concludes with a five week detailed look at the book of Revelation.

Enjoy your final year & begin praying now for opportunities where God can use you as His disciples and continue “to grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him, be glory both now and forever.” (2 Peter 3:18)
