Shoebox Collection Time is here!

Operation Christmas Child is underway!  This program is the brainchild of Franklin Graham and reaches children in over 100 countries with special Christmas gifts.  

Beginning October 20th and continuing through November 10th, we will be collecting items to fill shoeboxes.

On Saturday, November 16th (9 am – 1 pm), we will gather together to fill hundreds of boxes!!

Listed below are the suggested items for each week. Please place donations in the collection boxes in the lobby. Want to fill a complete box? Boxes and packing lists are available.

Week 1 – Oct. 20th – BACK TO SCHOOL
School supplies – pencils, pens, filler paper, notebooks, crayons, colored pencils, scissors, calculators, coloring books.

Week 2 – Oct. 27th – PERSONAL HYGIENE
Bar soap (no liquids), washcloths, combs, brushes and toothbrushes.

Week 3 – Nov. 3rd – SOMETHING TO WEAR
T-shirts, socks, flip flops, hats, sunglasses, Play jewelry, tiaras, hair accessories.

Week 4 – Nov. 10th – SOMETHING SPECIAL
Small toys (soccer ball and pump, tennis balls, matchbox cars, small dolls, etc. NO TOY GUNS, KNIVES, OR MILITARY FIGURES!), flashlights with Extra batteries and stuffed animals.

NOTE:  GodSquad kids are collecting toothbrushes and soap.  Bring on Wednesday nights.
