Kristen Raine graduated from Pennsville High School and St. Joseph's University.  Although Kristen is a published biochemist, God turned her professional life in an entirely different direction, that of children's ministry.  Teaching VBS in 1997 began her continued tenure in children's ministry – she has been teaching, leading and directing children's programs ever since.   Her heart and enthusiasm for the Lord and for kids make her a blessed addition to our staff.   You will find her giving children's sermons, teaching Graceland, Sunday school and GodSquad, and directing the best VBS programs in the county!

Her desire is that all the children who participate in the education programs at Sharptown will accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and that their choices and attitudes will reflect that decision.  In addition, it is her goal that our kids will develop the ability to read and understand, locate and navigate, memorize and share scripture.   

She resides in Pennsville with her husband, RJ, who is instrumental in her success in ministry through his support and help.  She has four children, Joey, Noah, Davey and Gracie – ages 13, 10, 9, and 5.  Their home life revolves around the continual sports the boys are actively involved in - soccer, wrestling and baseball.
